FAMILY AND OTHER NEWS:
My husband and I are happily expecting the arrival of our third baby this coming August. Our toddlers are excited to become older siblings to a baby sister. Anticipating this arrival and change in life, means I will take a brief break from concentrated studio time, but will continue working towards 2015 exhibitions. Currently, I am developing a series from the piece above entitled, Rest.

Upcoming in 2015 is an exhibition at Rhode Island College located in Providence, Rhode Island entitled: Ceramic Mothers. The exhibition will be in conjunction with the 2015 NCECA conference. The exhibition was curated by Kate Fisher and features the work of contemporary ceramic artists who are also mothers. Kate has been researching the impact motherhood on contemporary ceramic artists. This exhibition is the first event in support of that research.
