EXHIBITION NEWS:
After the NCECA conference my work began to focus on two upcoming exhibitions: 2014 Ceramic Invitational: Paper and Clay (June 6 - July 11, 2014) Bloomington, Minnesota and Illuminative: Art of Academia (June 2 - September 2, 2014) Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Images from the Paper and Clay exhibition are featured below.

Upcoming in 2015 is an exhibition at Rhode Island College located in Providence, Rhode Island entitled: Ceramic Mothers.  The exhibition will be in conjunction with the 2015 NCECA conference. The exhibition was curated by Kate Fisher and features the work of contemporary ceramic artists who are also mothers.  Kate has been researching the impact motherhood on contemporary ceramic artists.  This exhibition is the first event in support of that research.

A condensed video of my recent demonstration: Weathered Surfaces and Earthenware Handbuilding (Process Room Demonstration) will be released via NCECA (youtube channel/NCECA blog) later this summer.  When that becomes available I will post a link on this blog, website and facebook site.
